Fund Accounting Manager

Key Role Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of fund accountants, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Lead Fund Accountant: Oversee a team of fund accountants, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Fund Accounting Operations: Manage daily fund accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, investor reporting, and cash management.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in fund accounting, private equity, and/or alternative asset administration.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
