Lead Infrastructure Engineer Job Description

This role involves performing complex calculations and analyses related to wet utilities such as potable water, sewer, stormwater, highway drainage using governing engineering formulas, skills, and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design & Analysis: Perform design/analyses calculations for wet utilities.
  • General Arrangements & Layouts: Create plans, profiles, and layouts for infrastructure projects.
  • Research & Design Options: Research and prepare design options and documents for clients.
  • Engineering Computations & Designs: Prepare engineering computations, quantity takeoffs, specifications and designs for infrastructure projects.
  • Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance to junior Engineers working on the same project.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's in civil engineering and/or Masters in Water Resources Engineering/Environmental/Hydraulics Engineering discipline.
  • Experience: 10-15 years of relevant work experience in infrastructure engineering design particularly water, wastewater and storm drainage networks.
  • Skills: Proficient in modelling development using Sewer Gems, Water Gems, HEC-HMS, HEC RAS, InfoWorks ICM, WS Pro, Civil 3D, Navisworks, etc…
  • Communication: Strong report writing skills, excellent presentation skills, written and verbal communication, initiative, motivation and a team player.
