Role Description:

We are seeking a talented leader to fill our current vacancy for Associate Technical Director (ANA Projects) in the US region from our Design Centers in India. This role involves taking on a leadership position with the project team, providing direction, and leading by example. The successful candidate will lead teams, develop staff, manage quality processes, and plan, direct, and control tasks, people, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead teams and develop staff to meet changing technical and managerial needs.
  2. Manage quality processes, plan, direct, and control tasks, people, and resources.
  3. Manage the delivery of projects in accordance with Management Systems to meet time, quality, budgetary, and health and safety targets.
  4. Provide input to estimates for the engineering budget and schedule and oversee technical resources to meet requirements on large, complex projects.
  5. Build strong working relationships with technical disciplines and Arcadis offices.
  6. Create opportunities to implement new digital approaches on projects.
  7. Coordinate and manage project teams and large-size projects of single-discipline engineers or mid-large-size multi-disciplinary project teams, ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management, and good communication and collaboration between Arcadis colleagues.
  8. Perform independent technical reviews for projects of moderate complexity.
  9. Develop and maintain E&I standards, procedures, and specifications.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  11. Compliance of Arcadis business management system.
  12. Promote continuous improvement in "Safe by Design".

Qualifications and Experience:

M.E / B.Tech in Electrical or Instrumentation from a recognized University.

  1. 18+ years of experience.
  2. Proven experience in international projects.
  3. Have relevant experience, including leadership of the development and implementation of engineering solutions.
  4. Working in a project management role, have project management experience.
  5. Have achieved Chartership with UK / PE is an added advantage.

Required Competencies:

  1. Maintain and extend a sound theoretical approach to the application of technology in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering practice.
  2. Experience in Water and Wastewater Industry is an added advantage.
  3. Coach and mentor engineering professionals to support the development of Arcadis talent pool.
  4. Sound technical knowledge, academically good.
  5. Have recognized expertise in a professional discipline with well-established industry network.
  6. Familiar with American standards, NFPA, NEC, IEEE, and IEC standards.
  7. Proven design experience, including concept, preliminary, detailed, construction phases.
  8. Conversant with ETAP, SKM Tools, and DIALUX software.
  9. Conversant with AIS, GIS, and Hybrid substations.
  10. A strong, self-motivated, and assertive person capable of working under pressure.
  11. Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  12. Flexible to adopt new work/challenge work as per business requirement.
  13. Proven track records of consistently bringing work from the lead region.
