Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, and other DevOps tools.

The Cloud Engineer will be responsible for managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure and services in AWS, leveraging native services like EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc. This includes developing and maintaining automation scripts using Bash, Python, or other scripting languages to streamline operations.

The Cloud Engineer will also implement and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and/or OpenShift. Additionally, they will use AWS CDK (Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure in code and manage deployments.

Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to AWS services, cloud security, deployment processes, and system performance are also key responsibilities of the Cloud Engineer.

Collaboration with development and QA teams to ensure efficient integration and deployment processes is essential.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps practices and cloud engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • 2+ years of scripting experience using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • 2+ years of working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.
  • 1+ year of hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve AWS Cloud-related issues.
  • 2+ years of experience in deploying and supporting AWS-native applications.
  • 1+ year of experience using AWS CDK to provision infrastructure as code (IaC).
