We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Lead to join our team in developing software that runs on over 100,000 computers worldwide. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Windows client development and experience with C/C++ programming.

This role involves leading the development efforts for our industry-leading Windows-based meters, designing and implementing robust solutions, and mentoring junior engineers. You will play a key role in shaping the technical direction of our projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meter Deployment: Conceive, design, and build new features in the existing Windows-based software meter.
  • CI/CD Implementation: Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Code Quality and Best Practices: Enforce coding standards, best practices, and design principles, conducting code reviews, and providing constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
  • Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in both client-side and data upload components.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Windows client development using C/C++, and accessing low-level system services.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and tools, such as GitLab.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Leadership experience in guiding technical decisions and mentoring team members.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Skills
  • Knowledge of networking principles and security best practices.
  • Experience with JavaScript, PAW/CSS.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
