This opportunity entails working closely with the client's team as a SAP MDG Consultant to drive project success. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing comprehensive integration strategies between SAP (ECC, S/4 MDG) and non-SAP systems to maintain data integrity.
- Collaborating with the client's development team to design and implement custom developments that meet their needs.
- Communicating effectively with functional consultants and project teams to ensure seamless implementation of technical specifications.
As a seasoned SAP MDG expert, you will contribute significantly to the project's outcome by leveraging your knowledge of data modeling, UI configuration, process modeling, Fiori, and MDG API frameworks.
An ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP projects, with a focus on SAP MDG and Material Master.
- Deep expertise in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming, Master Data Governance (MDG), ABAP Floor Plan Manager (FPM), and MDG Workflows.
- Practical experience with BADIs, BRF+, handler and feeder class implementations, data replication, and DIF-based data import.
- Familiarity with SOA services, ALE configurations, key-value mappings, and integrating MDG with DQM.
- Skills in implementing field validation, derivation, and defaults using BADI's, as well as knowledge of material mass processing and change request notifications via email.
- Ability to set up inbound and outbound IDOCs, including change pointers for the material master.
