Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile professional to fill the Scrum Master position. This key member of our team will be responsible for driving Agile principles and best practices, fostering a collaborative environment, and promoting high-performing teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Scrum Events
    • Foster effective collaboration among team members by planning and conducting Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.

  • Remove Impediments

  • Coach and Mentor the Team

    • Mentor team members in regards to Agile best practices.
  • Promote Agile Practices
    • Champion Agile and Lean methodologies within the organization.
    • Educate stakeholders on the benefits of Agile and Scrum.
    • Support the team in implementing and improving their Agile practices.
    • Encourage the use of eXtreme Programming (XP) practices where applicable.
  • Manage Stakeholder Communication
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including product owners, developers, and other teams.
    • Provide regular updates on sprint progress and team performance.
    • Buid strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Track and Report Progress
    • Collect and track relevant sprint metrics, such as velocity, burndown charts, and cycle time.
    • Generate reports and dashboards to visualize team progress and identify areas for improvement.
    • Utilize Agile tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
  • Change Management
    • Assist in organizational change management as it relates to Agile transformations.
    • Help teams adapt to new processes and practices.
    • Foster workshops and training sessions to promote Agile adoption.
  • Training
    • Develop and deliver training to team members and stakeholders on Agile methodologies.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive training materials and documentation.
