Performance Tester Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Performance Tester to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong passion for coding, problem-solving, and innovation.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in performance testing using tools like Apache JMeter. They should be proficient in scripting languages such as Groovy, Python, or Shell, and have a working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.

The role involves designing, developing, and executing performance test plans, analyzing results, identifying bottlenecks, and working with development teams to resolve issues. Additionally, the candidate should be able to execute performance testing across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and implement monitoring tools and dashboards to track system health and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability test plans using Apache JMeter.
  • Write and maintain custom scripts for performance testing scenarios.
  • Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Perform testing and monitoring of applications running in Kubernetes clusters.
  • Execute performance testing across cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Implement monitoring tools and dashboards to track system health and performance metrics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong hands-on experience with JMeter for performance/load testing.
  • Proficient in scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python, Shell) for test automation.
  • Working knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Proficient in using monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Prometheus, New Relic, AppDynamics).

A good understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and microservices architecture is necessary for this role.
