Job Overview

This role is responsible for working closely with clients to understand their requirements for investment deals in the structured finance space. As a key member of our team, you will play an essential part in onboarding, monitoring and risk management for our institutional clients.

The primary focus would be researching and analyzing various financial and legal agreements, as well as monitoring and reporting key metrics of investments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Onboard client's investment portfolio by reviewing and interpreting legal agreements, understanding servicer or trustee's reporting
  • Work closely with clients in supporting them for risk and exposure monitoring of transactions
  • Calculate and monitor covenants, concentration limits, eligibility criteria, concentration tests and Borrowing Base calculations and other key metrics/tests
  • Assist/lead daily operations of various workstreams and ensure all deliverables are accurate and timely
  • Liaise with Business Analyst and Implementation team to ensure data and logic on proprietary platforms are accurate
  • Mentor and guide freshers of the team to improve overall learning curve
  • Provide enhanced surveillance to clients on their portfolios and share critical aspects concerning overall performance proactively
  • Assist in standardizing and streamlining processes to increase efficiencies and setting up SOPs and processes around deliverables
Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires a strong foundation in structured finance products, corporate credit landscape, ABL/CLO/Middle Market Portfolio Financing. You should have in-depth knowledge of core financial and accounting concepts, proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel, and understanding of various financial databases.

  • Broad understanding of structured finance products/corporate credit landscape/ABL/CLO/Middle Market Portfolio Financing
  • In-depth understanding of core financial and accounting concepts
  • Proficiency in financial modeling using MS Excel
  • Understanding of various financial databases, including Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Factiva
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal and interpersonal
  • Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict and aggressive deadlines
  • Desired candidate must have graduated with MBA or advanced degree in finance like CFA, CAIA and FRM
  • Prior experience of at least 3-5 years with an Investment Bank, Investment Management firm or Financial Advisory firm, preferably
