Internal Audit Professional

The internal audit department is seeking a professional to support the organization's governance framework. This role will assess the effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls and processes, ensuring transparency, mitigating risks, and enhancing the organization's internal control environment.

This position plays a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulations and corporate policies. The successful candidate will work closely with internal stakeholders across departments to provide insights and recommendations that strengthen the company's internal control framework.

About the Role
  • Assist in the design, implementation, and monitoring of the Internal Control System (ICS).
  • Provide guidance to process owners on ICS-related matters and ensure compliance with established frameworks.
  • Track and report on the status of ICS deficiencies and remediation efforts.
Responsibilities
  1. Prepare and organize audit-related documentation, including work papers, audit plans, and testing templates.
  2. Maintain an up-to-date repository of policies, procedures, and internal control documentation.
  3. Track audit progress, timelines, and deliverables using audit management tools.
  4. Support the scheduling and coordination of audit meetings and interviews with stakeholders.
  5. Assist in the development and updating of internal audit policies, procedures, and manuals.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in BI tools like Board and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Affinity for IT systems and data analytics tools.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
