Leadership in Software Engineering

As a senior leader, you will oversee the delivery of complex software projects with significant impact on both internal and external customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage engineering teams effectively, ensuring high technical quality, timely delivery, and efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects within agreed-upon timeframes, budget constraints, and quality standards;
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Operations, and other delivery teams to ensure seamless project execution;
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, internal and external;
  • Apply industry best practices and coding patterns to create maintainable, modular, and high-quality solutions;
  • Motivate and grow the skills and talent within the team;
  • Manage people resource processes, including objective definitions, regular check-ins, assessments, and compensation;
  • Communicate effectively across functions and escalate issues promptly as needed;
  • Present project status and results to senior management during Steering Committee meetings;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 14 years' experience in developing and managing core products or business applications;
  • Strong domain expertise in Cyber Security, with ability to drive innovation and take ownership of cyber security products;
  • Experience with Content Management, Web Development, Agile Development & global delivery;
  • Practical knowledge of agile/iterative development process;
  • Strong design, architecture, and coding experience;
  • Hands-on experience with C++, C technologies;
  • Good knowledge of AWS, Multi-Project/Program Management, & Development;
  • Able to handle large-scale and multiple products/scrum teams concurrently;
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle process and methodologies;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, self-motivated, and business-oriented;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels;
  • Skilled in presentations and discussions with business and technical staff;
  • Experience working in an international environment involving multiple development sites on various time zones.
