Job Title: Senior Kernel Integration Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join our Linux Kernel Team and lead the integration of our Linux mainline with various projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong technical skills and experience in kernel development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the kernel integration pipeline across multiple targets and platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure successful product software integration/testing and build/release
  • Frequent interactions with customers and Google to execute these responsibilities
  • Develop workflows, automation, and manage them to maintain pipeline efficiency
  • Evaluate new tools and technology to ensure an automated and stable environment
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 12+ years of software engineering or related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of embedded software, OS fundamentals, data structure, Linux kernel, and device driver model
  • Excellent programming skills with expert-level knowledge of C
  • Hands-on experience with scripting, automation, and deployment processes
  • Knowledge of different distributions and Android ecosystem (a plus)
  • Debug and integration skills, especially in core kernel software stability domain
