Job Description:

This is a skilled Shopify Developer role where you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining seamless and visually appealing online stores. You will work closely with our design and development teams to create e-commerce websites that meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites.
  • Extend theme functionality for custom cart, filters, or similar requirements.
  • Work with metaobject and metafield structuring for complex data structures.
  • Collaborate with designers and other developers to understand key problems and implement solutions with the right approach.
  • Cross-functional team collaboration to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
  • Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with front-end JavaScript libraries like React, Vue, Svelte, etc.
  • Competence in Vanilla JavaScript (ES6) including async JavaScript.
  • Experience in Liquid and SCSS (or Tailwind/MUI).
  • Excellent communication skills with issue documentation and reporting.
  • Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Shopify development experience is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify metaobject and metafield structures is advantageous.
