Job Title

The role of SAP Basis Team Lead is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced professional to oversee the delivery of application monitoring and support services across multiple customers.

">Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the team responsible for application monitoring and support services for global customers across SAP environments, including ECC 6.0, S/4HANA, CRM, SCM, and BW/4HANA.
  • Act as the primary point of escalation for customers in case of technical delivery issues or challenges.
  • Effectively handle complex customer discussions and interactions, and be aware of the escalation process in service execution.
  • Ensure timely delivery of work items aligned to defined SLAs, and maintain process adherence and compliance within the team.
  • Prepare Service Performance Reports (monthly), Issue Tracker & Open Items (weekly), and Continuous Improvement Reports (monthly) for customers.
  • Collaborate with customer and SAP internal teams to drive agile resolution of critical issues.
  • Have a sound understanding of SAP Cloud ALM, Focused Run (FRUN), and ITSM ticketing tools to manage incidents and service delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement in process or service delivery and promote the adoption of AI-based automation.
  • Provide Customer pulse, publish SLA & KPI reports, and offer performance insights to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Serve as a guide or mentor to the delivery team from a technical basis perspective, focusing on Basis, Security, and Data Growth areas.
  • Manage the team across shifts, ensuring seamless handovers without process breakdowns.
  • Promptly highlight identified risks for service delivery and governance, along with risk response strategies.
">Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis Administration, including HANA DB, ABAP/Java stacks, and SAP landscape management.
  • Hands-on experience with Cloud ALM, FRUN, and ITSM tools.
  • Exposure to SAP modules and systems, including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, PI/PO, CPI, CRM, and SCM.
