Key Responsibilities:

  • Transfer 28-90nm technologies from partner facilities while collaborating with Fab integration teams for seamless transfer
  • Develop feature additions and improvements to 28-90nm technologies, focusing on leakage, performance, RF/Power FOM's, Auto Grade Qualification, etc.
  • Work closely with the Business team to analyze performance targets and costs
  • Collaborate with Integration teams on test chip layouts
  • Ensure project performance requirements are met
  • Build and lead cross-functional teams across diverse geographies
  • Establish strong relationships with customers based on confidence in our technical capabilities
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking and develop roadmaps
  • Present to internal and customer senior executives
  • Travel as necessary

Qualifications:

  • M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Materials Science, or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of device physics, process modules, yield improvement, failure mechanisms, analytical techniques (physical and electrical)
  • Experience guiding TCAD and compact modelling teams
  • Involved in developing and optimizing transistors for at least one CMOS node
  • Deep knowledge of CMOS parameters and figures of merit; experience in achieving competitive performance
  • Understanding of transistor physics and fabrication details, especially planar MOSFET and BJT
  • Ability to optimize transistors based on different implant and other process steps
  • Can design and layout E-test structures and analyze data from these structures
  • Innovation mindset

  • 7+ years experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Proven track record of successfully developing new technologies into high-volume production
  • Proven problem-solving skills using TCAD, design of experiments, and bench tools
