We are inviting applications for the role of Manager/Senior Consultant/Consultant/Business Analyst – Cat Modelling – P&S. In this position, you will be using client data to model exposures and analyze results using RMS software.

The process involves two major steps: cleansing exposure data and applying financial structures before carrying out model analysis. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Providing analytical support with exposure capture and risk modelling.
  2. Data cleansing across different lines of business: property, natural resources, and marine.
  3. Slip interpretation and applying financial structures.
  4. Importing and validating exposure summary.
  5. Modeling accounts in RMS RiskLink.
  6. Analyzing results and communicating with the onshore modeling team.
  7. Creating/modifying/run SQL scripts for day-to-day process steps.
  8. Generating insights for better risk management based on client data knowledge.
  9. Providing analytical support for reporting activities and ad-hoc requests.

Required qualifications include:

  • Graduate degree.
  • Relevant experience in primary insurance modeling.
  • Experience using RMS RiskLink.
  • Knowledge of Sequel impact is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • SQL knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Ability to deliver tasks timely and handle work pressure.
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Working knowledge of data scrubbing, financial structures, and modeling.
  • Excellent analytical ability.
  • High speed of execution.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
