Job Opportunity: Electrical Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to handle end-to-end electrical procurement, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of high-quality products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong negotiation and vendor management skills, along with a solid understanding of electrical materials. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities are also essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, evaluate, and finalize vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).
  • Floating RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  • Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
  • Maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.
  • Coordinate with project/logistics teams for dispatches, tracking, and resolving any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • 3–4 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
