EDI Specialist

We are seeking a skilled EDI specialist to configure and maintain EDI solutions using IBM Sterling for seamless electronic data interchange with business partners.

  • Configure and Maintain EDI Solutions: Utilize IBM Sterling to support efficient order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment by integrating EDI with Order Management Systems (OMS).
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Integrate EDI processes with trading partners to ensure smooth communication and resolve issues related to transmission errors, mapping discrepancies, and communication failures.
  • Manage EDI Processes: Oversee EDI mapping, translation, and communication processes to ensure timely and accurate exchange of data with trading partners.
  • Onboard and Test EDI Connections: Work with customers and external partners to establish reliable EDI connections.
  • Resolve EDI Issues: Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, including transmission errors, mapping discrepancies, and communication failures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven Experience: With IBM Sterling B2B Integrator and/or IBM Sterling File Gateway.
  • Extensive Knowledge: Of EDI standards such as ANSI X12, EDIFACT, and industry-specific transaction sets.
  • Hands-on Experience: With Order Management Systems (OMS) and their integration with EDI processes.
