Backend Developer

We are a cutting-edge FinTech company that specializes in developing innovative AI tools.

This role involves designing, building, and implementing secure server-side applications using Node.js + Express.js. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing server-side applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, Express (Node.js), or Laravel (PHP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Design: Design, build, and implement secure RESTful APIs using Node.js + Express.js.
  • Server-Side Development: Develop and maintain server-side applications using frameworks such as Django, Flask, Express (Node.js), or Laravel (PHP).
  • Security Implementation: Implement authentication and authorization systems (Firebase free tier/ PostgreSQL) to ensure secure data transmission.
  • Database Management: Design and manage database schemas using MongoDB Atlas (free tier) or other databases with PostGRE SQL (Supabase).
  • Data Modeling: Create efficient data models and database queries to optimize data retrieval.
  • Blockchain Integration: Develop blockchain-based certificate verification systems.
  • Performance Optimization: Troubleshoot and optimize backend performance by identifying and resolving bottlenecks.
  • Integration and Documentation: Integrate third-party services and external APIs when needed, and document API endpoints and backend functionality for front-end developers.

Requirements:

  • Basic proficiency in one or more backend frameworks (Node.js/Express, Django, Flask, Laravel).
  • Programming skills in JavaScript, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, PostgreSQL (Supabase), SQLite, or NoSQL databases.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Basic knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
  • Awareness of security concerns and best practices.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
