Job Title: Visual Designer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Visual Designer to create engaging visual content, including social media graphics, website assets, podcast artwork, YouTube thumbnails, logos, branding elements, and other visual materials for clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts in-depth research to determine design approaches.
  • Develops eye-catching and high-quality visual content, including social media graphics, website banners, and podcast art.
  • Applies design principles to maximize effectiveness.
  • Proposes creative design concepts as opportunities arise.
  • Revises, edits, and improves any visual materials.
  • Prepares work by gathering necessary information and materials.
  • Illustrates concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts.
  • Completes projects by coordinating with the production team, producers, and project managers.
  • Demonstrates outstanding attention to detail and a keen eye for razor-sharp design.
  • Pursues offline design tasks as needed.
  • Values clean, simple, image-rich, usable interfaces.
  • Maintains knowledge by staying up-to-date with digital innovations and competitors.
  • Ensures that all touchpoints align with the creative vision.
  • Remains aware of and has an interest in various areas of design across digital marketing, podcasting, and social media.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a design agency, studio, or production company.
  • Proficiency in all software for design.
  • Expertise in motion design is an added advantage.
  • Expertise in content production and creation is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools.
  • A strong portfolio featuring static, animated, and mobile work samples.
  • Experience in the podcast production industry or digital marketing companies is a plus.
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
