Prevention Specialist

The Key Objectives of this Role:

  • To implement and manage prevention services that are quality-driven.

Major Responsibilities:

  1. Implementing the Prevention projects of Arpan on the field, which includes teaching children personal safety skills from 6-18 years in schools and conducting awareness sessions with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  2. Documentation of field experiences in a timely manner.
  3. Ensuring adherence to operational protocols, including timely reporting of field activities to coordinators. Regular reviews with Coordinator and Manager, Prevention Services.

Job Challenges:

To implement programs and maintain high-quality documentation.

Essential Job Competencies:

  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment.
  • Keenness to work with children.

Educational Qualifications:

Graduation or Post-graduation in Education, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields.

Desired Experience:

Experience in group work with children and adolescents, conducting sessions, and facilitating discussions. Freshers with similar voluntary experience are also eligible.

Other Desired Attributes:

  • Ability to work in a large team.
  • Creative and child-friendly approach.
  • Open to extensive local travel.
  • Fluency in English.

Location: Mumbai

Salary Range: ₹25,000 per month (inclusive of allowances)
