Cloud Native Platform Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Native Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Native Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing cloud-native solutions using Azure enterprise landing zones.

The platform team is responsible for providing baseline & building blocks of cloud environments. You will be working with Microsoft enterprise landing zone concept in Azure, managed Kubernetes clusters on top of Azure AKS, developer tools, builders library for software engineering teams.

You will empower our engineering teams, improve the developer experience, and foster a software engineering culture as part of Platform Engineering. Our product teams are organized in value streams with several products.

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience as Cloud Engineer, Platform Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, or similar roles coming from Software development or system administration background.

Required Skills:

  • Cloud-Native Services: Experience with designing and implementing solutions using cloud native services (preferably Azure)
  • Kubernetes Administration: Proficiency in Kubernetes cluster administration, including setup, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform, Pulumi, Bicep or similar tools
  • Container and Serverless Services: Experience with Container and/or Serverless services in cloud environments
  • Automation Scripts: Experience with writing automation scripts/tools using Bash, Python, JavaScript, Typescript or Go
  • Azure AD and Networking: Understanding of Azure AD, access management concepts such AD groups, IAM etc. and networking architecture such as DNS, routing, subnet, NAT, CDN, load balancer etc.

Good to Have Skills:

  • Multiple Cloud Services: Hands-on experience on using multiple cloud services based on the use cases (preferably Azure)
  • Security Concepts: Understanding security concepts Azure RBAC, Defender for cloud, Sentinel, Azure policies, Firewall etc.
