Modern Rug Design Expert Wanted

Lead a talented design team in creating innovative, contemporary rug designs for our collection of Hand Made carpets.

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for the creative direction of our company across different product lines.
  • Share original concept ideas for themes and collections.
  • Design rugs with unique qualities and textures for identified collections.
  • Stay up-to-date on new fibres, yarns, and weaves for manufacturing.
  • Plan exhibition stand design for showcased collections.
  • Create visual representations of rug designs in room settings.
  • Design catalogues and social media posts.
  • Collaborate with manufacturers and exhibitions as required.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in rug design.
  • Knowledge of carpet techniques: hand tuft, hand knotted, handloom.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, CorelDraw, Indesign).
  • Galaincha software knowledge is an advantage.
