Job Title: Software Development Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Technical Program Manager to join our team at Iris Software Inc. as a Software Development Director.

This role involves leading complex projects with multiple technical integrations, driving project plans with a strong focus on architecture and design, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

About the Role:

  • We require someone with strong Java background and experience in Microservices, cloud platforms, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • You will be responsible for managing relationships with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring overall quality, scope, and budgets management of major projects or programs.
  • Able to recognize and solve potential problems/risks and evaluate project/program effectiveness.
  • Experience with databases and data-related technologies is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute project plans to meet objectives within set timeframes and funding parameters.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure technical feasibility and implementation of solutions.
  • Analyzing project progress, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster open communication among team members, stakeholders, and other departments to drive collaboration and achieve shared goals.

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 15 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on technical leadership and project management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, Microservices architecture, and cloud computing platforms.
