Job Title: DFT Engineer

Description:

  • We are seeking a skilled and experienced DFT (Design for Testability) engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Interface with design teams to ensure DFT design rules and coverages are met.
  • Generate high-quality manufacturing test patterns for stuck-at (SAF), transition fault (TDF) models through the use of on-chip test compression techniques.
  • MBIST verification, including repair, and test pattern generation through Mentor tool.
  • ATPG (SAF, TDF) and MBIST verification using unit delay and min/max timing corner simulations.
  • Collaborate with product/test engineering teams on the delivery of manufacturing test patterns for ATE.
  • Support post-silicon debug effort, issue resolution.
  • Develop diagnostic tools for ATPG, MBIST, and bring-up on ATE.
  • Maintain and enhance scripts as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
  • Detailed knowledge of DFT concepts, pattern simulation, silicon debug, and yield enhancement.
  • In-depth knowledge of ATPG - coverage analysis.
  • Experience with memory verification, repair, and failure root-cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with tools such as TestKompress, ETVerify, VCS, and ModelSim is required.
  • Expertise in scripting languages like Perl and shell is an added advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively in an international team environment.
  • Capacity to learn new tools and methodologies quickly.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple high-priority designs simultaneously.
