Job Summary
\We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Accounting Department to join our team at Ocwen Financial Corporation.
\The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in handling accounting and financial activities, including preparing and publishing Management Information Systems (MIS), variance analysis, and coordination with internal and external auditors.
\The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant with 2-5 years of post-qualification experience, proficient in Oracle and MS Office, and able to work a flexible schedule from 2 PM to 11 PM.
\Key Responsibilities

- Support month and year-end close activities\
- Prepare and publish timely MIS on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis\
- Coordinate with various stakeholders for final reporting to management\
- Collaborate with internal departments to get inputs for accounting entries on a timely basis\
- Lease and fixed asset accounting as per US GAAP and Ind AS\
- Provide relevant and correct information to internal and external auditors\
- Automation tasks, creation of templates, run tests for databases, and collaborate with other users and business units towards automation initiatives\
- General ledger review, analysis, and recordation of monthly entries in close coordination with business unit heads\
- Coordination with internal and external auditors in completion of audits\
- Assuming independent responsibilities for specific assignments and identifying and resolving issues during execution\
- Confers with manager regarding problem areas and recommendations to drive efficiency and driving process improvements through elimination of non-value add processes and procedures or other alternative workable solutions\
