Commercial Studies and Mathematics Educator

Job Opportunity:

The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for teaching and related assignments, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an engaging and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Commercial Studies to students in grades IX to XII and Mathematics to 4th to 8th grade.
  • Conduct student sessions, prep classes, and tutorials to support student understanding of concepts.
  • Take remedial and extra classes to ensure students grasp key concepts.
  • Paper setting, timely correction, and marking of assignment work.
  • Mentor students for competitions and events.
  • Develop lesson plans under the guidance of the Head of Department (HOD).
  • Update learning modules and materials for better understanding of concepts.
  • Select and obtain relevant textbooks and reading materials for students.
  • Maintain accurate records of student grades as required.
  • Organize and participate in extracurricular activities of the school.
  • Assist with all departmental activities carried out during the term.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in higher education teaching.
  • Strong English language skills.
