Job Opportunity: Database Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to fill the position of Database Analyst. This role will involve working closely with our team to analyze and develop databases, ensuring they meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To analyze data from various sources and create efficient database systems for storing and retrieving this information.
  • To work collaboratively with our team to identify areas for improvement in our current database systems.
  • To design, implement, and maintain databases that are secure, scalable, and reliable.
  • To conduct thorough testing of databases to ensure their accuracy and integrity.
  • To communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project progress.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • At least 7 years of experience in database analysis and development.
  • Clinically oriented with knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in major LIS and EMR systems, including Epic, Cerner/Oracle, Meditech, SCCSoft lab, Orchard, and NextGen.
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access/SQL database management.
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a peer group and multi-task under stringent customer deadlines.
  • Quick learning ability to adapt to new systems for compendium mapping and file purposes.
