We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Security Operations Center Trainer.

Job Overview

This is a part-time remote position responsible for creating and delivering instructional modules on Security Operations Center (SOC) practices, including monitoring, detection, incident response, and threat analysis.

  • Hands-on experience as a SOC Analyst or in related Cybersecurity operations is essential.
  • Proficiency with SIEM tools, log analysis, incident response, and threat hunting is required.
  • A strong understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, attack vectors, and defense mechanisms is necessary.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deliver engaging and interactive online training sessions.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CEH, Splunk, Azure Sentinel) are an advantage.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop comprehensive training programs for Security Operations Center (SOC) practices.

- Deliver high-quality instructional modules, ensuring effective knowledge transfer to learners.

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

- Provide feedback and guidance to learners, promoting continuous improvement and growth.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in Cybersecurity operations, with a focus on Security Operations Centers (SOCs).

- Strong background in SIEM tooling, log analysis, incident response, and threat hunting.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security+, CEH, Splunk, Azure Sentinel).

- Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Experience with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
