We are seeking a skilled Cost Estimation Specialist to join our team at DCS Group. As a Cost Estimation Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately estimating project costs, creating timelines, and monitoring costs throughout the project lifecycle. This is a full-time position with a junior level of experience required (1 to 3 years). The job requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent time management and task management abilities, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Junior level experience in cost estimation (1 to 3 years)
- Proficient in using cost estimation software and tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and task management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Good understanding of cost monitoring techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Conduct project site visits and inspections to gather information required for cost estimation
- Analyze project requirements, including materials, labor, and equipment, to determine project costs
- Prepare accurate cost estimates using appropriate methods and software
- Create detailed project timelines, including milestones and deliverables
- Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle and make adjustments as necessary
- Prepare cost reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure accurate and timely cost estimation
