Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Policy Management Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work with a leading organization in the insurance industry.

Job Description:

The Insurance Policy Management Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining our insurance policy management systems, ensuring that they are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes configuring policy transactions, implementing multiple lines of business, and developing product models.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Guidewire Policy Center Configuration with strong exposure to SDLC and Java EE.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Iterative SDLC methodologies commonly used in Guidewire implementations.
  • Proficiency in Policy Center Configuration Development, including:
  • Policy Transactions/Job Configuration.
  • Multiple LOBs implementation.
  • Product Modeling.
  • Quoting and Rating Management.
  • Reinsurance Management.
  • Forms Management.
  • Policy Revisioning.
  • Underwriting Authority.
  • Account Management, Contacts, Locations, and User Management.
  • Producer Management and PolicyCenter Administration.
  • Robust understanding of the PolicyCenter Data Model.
  • Expertise in Guidewire Configuration Development, including:
  • GOSU scripting.
  • Rules Engine and Data Model.
  • PCF, Wizards, and Workflow development.
  • Activity and Product Model development.
  • Technical skills in:
  • XML, GUnit, Jenkins, Git/Subversion/TFS.
  • Code Coverage and Code Scanning tools/plugins.
  • Experience with application servers: WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, or Tomcat.
  • Experience with database servers: SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
  • Strong communication skills and experience in onsite-offshore coordination.
  • Insurance industry and domain knowledge.
  • Experience in mentoring and guiding team members.
