Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  2. Prepare accurate year-end financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  3. Manage GST-related matters, including responding to notices and ensuring timely compliance.
  4. Coordinate foreign Letters of Credit (LCs) and understand import/export regulations set by the RBI and other financial institutions.
  5. Liaise with banks for credit renewals and maintain strong banking relationships.
  6. Collaborate with external and internal auditors and facilitate audit processes.
  7. Analyse financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth.
  8. Ensure adherence to all relevant financial laws and regulations.
  9. Maintain cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  10. Support management with financial analysis and reports as needed.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Accountant (CA)
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in the infrastructure sector
  • Proven expertise in managing GST compliance and responding to notices
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing foreign LCs and staying updated on RBI and import/export regulations
  • Experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
