Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

  • As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design and develop scalable cloud-native solutions using Python and backend frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask.
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality production-ready software that meets client requirements and industry standards.

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a talented engineer who wants to build and maintain complex backend services, infrastructure components, and API integration.
  • Work on AWS cloud infrastructure and services to ensure scalability, security, and reliability.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy backend services and infrastructure components.
  • Develop and maintain backend services using Python and integrate them with frontend applications.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI and containerize applications using Docker.
  • Manage relational databases (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB).
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement infrastructure as code.
  • Build and consume APIs using GraphQL (preferred).

What You'll Need:

  • 6–12 years of experience in backend software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and backend frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, etc.).
  • Familiarity with database management systems including PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
  • Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools like GitLab CI.
  • Ability to work in agile teams and client-facing environments.

Additional Information:

  • Prior experience with Unix-based environments and scripting languages like Bash.
  • Knowledge of web frameworks and libraries such as Graphene and SQLAlchemy.
