About Us:
We are an investment firm focused on the Indian equity market.
Our team has several years of experience each in public equities and venture capital.
Prior to co-founding our firm, the Managing Partner worked at two renowned hedge funds as an Investment Analyst from 2005 until 2012.
The strategy of our fund is rooted in fundamental research and investment decisions are based on a medium to long term outlook.
Expertise lies in seeking mis-understood situations and abnormal stock movements.
Key Responsibilities:
- The candidate will be responsible for financial modelling, financial analysis, and forming an investment thesis.
- Track down and analyse every industry/company data point that is available in the public domain.
- Making presentations and presenting convincing ideas to the team.
- Administrative responsibilities shared by all members of the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A keen interest in capital markets.
- A full understanding of businesses and sectors they operate in.
- Strong skills in financial modelling, analysing income statements-balance sheet-cash flows, and valuing companies.
- Prior experience of building operating and financial models of companies and industries.
- A basic understanding of equity valuation.
- Exceptional skills in advanced Excel and PowerPoint.
- An eye for detail.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience (sell-side or buy-side experience preferred).
