Quality Assurance Engineer Job Description

This role is responsible for ensuring software products meet the highest quality standards by systematically testing and validating their functionality.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience as a manual tester with a proven track record, including 2+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing.

They should also have in-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and project management principles, proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries, and ability to document errors meticulously and troubleshoot issues effectively.

Expertise in test case execution, bug reporting, and defect tracking, along with strong communication skills, attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability, is a must.

A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech) is required.

Key responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards, identifying defects, and ensuring software products meet desired quality standards.

Good-to-Have Qualifications include familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing, experience in post-release/post-implementation testing, ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain quality standards, proficiency in test management software, and strong organizational and multitasking skills.
