We are seeking a skilled Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices to customers, ensuring timely delivery and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue invoices to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Meet invoice delivery deadlines and resolve any issues promptly.
- Enter invoices into customer invoicing systems and submit electronically.
- Verify each field on the invoices before submission to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain supporting documents and backups for all invoices.
- Update invoice submission status in our system regularly.
- Maintain invoice submission logs and customer invoicing process files as reference.
- Collaborate with payroll and invoicing teams to streamline invoice submission.
- Send out statements of accounts to customers.
- Reconcile self-billed cases with customer-approved timesheets and resolve billing/payment mismatches.
- Handle invoice rejections and credit/rebill issues effectively.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the complete invoicing process and update them regularly.
- Provide ongoing support for improving invoicing platforms.
- Assist credit control in invoicing and collection of payments.
Requirements:
