**About the Role:**
We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager for our team. This role will involve providing leadership and guidance to staff accountants, interacting with clients, and managing various accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of staff accountants and provide guidance on financial management practices.
- Collaborate with senior management and partners to develop business strategies and implement new initiatives.
- Prepare and publish financial reports, including quarterly and annual statements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and external stakeholders.
- Manage audit and review processes with external auditors.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
**Requirements:
- 10+ years experience in working with IFRS.
- Proven experience as a manager or similar position.
- Strong experience with preparing and reviewing financial statements.
- Experience working in the industry/finance department is an asset.
- Experience with public companies and understanding public company reporting requirements is an asset.
- Exposure to Canada Individual (T1), Corporate (T2) and Trust (T3) tax returns will be added advantage.
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially with Excel.
- Well organized and capable of managing responsibilities.
