The IT Support Engineer is responsible for providing comprehensive support across various areas of the organization's IT infrastructure. This includes end-user support, networking, servers, and systems management.
This role is a critical component of ensuring business continuity through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and service management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical assistance to employees for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and enterprise applications.
- Monitor and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, and networks.
- Respond to user requests and incidents via the IT helpdesk/ticketing system.
- Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups within Active Directory/Office 365.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues.
- Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support or infrastructure.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
