Financial Operations Manager

The primary function of this role is to lead the financial operations at our Corporate Office, overseeing various tasks related to accounting, statutory compliance, and team management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Reporting:
    Maintain accurate financial records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements in accordance with accounting standards.
  • Compliance Management:
    Ensure timely filing of tax returns, maintain up-to-date compliance documentation, and coordinate with banks for daily operations.
  • Internal Controls and Process Improvements:
    Implement and monitor internal controls, suggest enhancements for process efficiency, and support the development of junior accounting staff.
  • Audit Coordination:
    Liaise with internal and external auditors, ensure timely resolution of queries, and implement audit recommendations.
  • Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reporting:
    Generate periodic MIS reports covering financial performance, variances, and forecasts, supporting data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Leadership:
    Supervise and train junior accounting staff, ensuring quality output and continuous skill development.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA/MBA Finance preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in core accounting roles.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, reconciliations, and audit processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software and advanced MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
