About the Role
As an integral member of the PDx Procurement team, you will play a critical role in forging and maintaining strategic relationships with suppliers to support robust category strategies and network design decisions. You will lead complex contract negotiations, deliver contracts that emphasize value creation and effective cost control, and gather and analyze market intelligence to benchmark and control costs.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient and Excipient category, ensuring alignment with GEHC's overall supply strategy.
* Forge and maintain strategic relationships with GEHC's API and Excipient category to support robust category strategies and network design decisions.
* Key Procurement Business Partner for New Product Introductions (NPI) and Life Cycle Management (LCM) programmes.
* Cultivate relationships with key internal stakeholders to support GEHC's business strategy and communicate supply chain insights.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain, procurement or a relevant technical field.
* 5+ years' experience developing and executing sourcing strategies across various geographies and supply chains.
* 3+years' experience leading global/regional projects across matrixed teams.
