Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to lead our data engineering initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise data platforms, driving innovation and adoption of new technologies, mentoring junior and mid-level data engineers, collaborating with stakeholders across teams, establishing and enforcing data engineering best practices, and presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure data infrastructure for large organizations.
  • Research and integrate cutting-edge tools and frameworks for data ingestion, processing, and governance.
  • Mentor and guide junior and mid-level data engineers.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to align data engineering initiatives with business objectives.
  • Establish and enforce data engineering best practices across the organization.
  • Present technical concepts and business impacts to executives and decision-makers.
Technical Skills:
  • Expert-level proficiency in Python, automation, and orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of data storage, processing, and governance.
  • Proven ability to build and deploy scalable data systems on GCP.
  • Experience with big data technologies, including Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/sub, or similar.
  • Strong security and compliance expertise.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must Have Skills:
  • Python, orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Cloud Composer)
  • Data architecture: data lakes, warehouses, streaming (e.g. Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc)
  • Experience with GCP and production-grade data platform deployment
  • Data security, compliance, and governance standards
  • Data modeling skills - Experience with different data modeling techniques
  • SQL Skills level - Expert
  • Deep understanding of BigQuery, have experience on partitioning, clustering and performance optimizations
  • Experience on Cloud Function, Composer and Cloud Run, Dataflow Flex Templates
