Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team at innova-esi.

In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing business requirements and developing solutions that meet the needs of our fund accounting clients.

  • Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders
  • Develop a deep understanding of hedge fund accounting workflows, including NAV calculation, trade capture, cash/position reconciliations, performance fees, and investor allocations
  • Work with Fund Accounting teams to document functional and technical requirements for system enhancements
  • Identify areas for process and system improvements
  • Collaborate with technology teams to enhance fund accounting platforms
  • Streamline reconciliations, automate manual processes, and improve data integrity
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A strong knowledge of hedge fund accounting concepts
  • Experience with fund administration systems (e.g., Advent Geneva, Investran)
  • Business analysis skills: requirements gathering, process modeling, UAT, documentation
  • An understanding of financial instruments: equities, fixed income, derivatives
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and reporting tools for data analysis
  • Strong stakeholder communication skills
