About the Role

This role will encompass the development of security tooling and extensions for KX products leveraging various programming languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, Go, Rust, and JavaScript, and establishing interoperability with other elements of the KX product suite and partner teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, create, implement, and optimize security tooling and integrations.
  • Collaborate with team members and external clients to develop optimized and user-friendly solutions to complex problems.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments within the Application Security community to ensure KX is at the forefront of this arena.
  • Promote education on secure coding practices to R&D teams in conjunction with our training partner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and security issues with internal and external customers.
  • Participate in security requirements analysis, threat modeling, code reviews, and remediation efforts to ensure code quality and security are maintained.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong understanding of and passion for clean, efficient software architecture and development.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, C, C++, GoLang, or Rust.
  • Solid understanding of software packaging and distribution.
  • Demonstrable experience with CI/CD methodologies, tooling, and pipelines.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills/attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
