We are seeking an experienced API Cloud Architect to join our team. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust RESTful APIs that integrate with various services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • API Development: Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Java Spring Boot, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
  • Cloud Deployment: Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure, utilizing Azure services such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure API Management.
  • Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to integrate APIs with various front-end applications and third-party services.
  • Testing and Documentation: Write unit and integration tests for APIs and create clear, comprehensive documentation for API usage and deployment processes.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize API performance, implementing caching strategies and analyzing logs to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Version Control: Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage code changes and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in API development and cloud technologies, and recommend improvements to existing processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in Java or Azure are a plus.

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in API development using Java Spring Boot.
  • Hands-on experience with deploying applications on Microsoft Azure.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
