We're seeking an experienced technology leader to drive the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using Python and Django.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead architecture, design, and development of backend systems with a strong focus on innovation and excellence.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs with a focus on high performance, security, and scalability.
  • Oversee integration with third-party services and internal tools, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficient data exchange.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for security, authentication, and data protection, maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability, leveraging cloud deployments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Collaborate closely with product, design, and frontend teams to deliver features that meet business needs and exceed customer expectations.
  • Mentor and coach backend developers, conduct code reviews, and define technical guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD, automated testing, and software engineering best practices, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in software development and leadership principles.
  • 4+ years of backend development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role, showcasing expertise in team management and technical leadership.
  • Strong expertise in Python and Django framework, with hands-on experience in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and distributed systems, with a proven track record of designing and implementing complex systems.
  • Strong cloud deployment experience (AWS/Azure/GCP), with a deep understanding of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
