Lead Compiler Developer

We are seeking an experienced developer with a strong background in compiler design and query optimization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing high-performance applications using Golang, with a focus on enhancing compiler functionality.

The successful candidate will work closely with the team to design, implement, and optimize Graph Query Language (GQL) features, focusing on compiler enhancements, execution planning, and performance optimization for large-scale, low-latency graph analytics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementing design specifications for the compiler and query optimizer.
  • Developing core product features following best practices for software development.
  • Designing and optimizing query language features, compiler, and execution performance.
Requirements:
  • Golang programming skills.
  • Java and/or C++ product development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with compiler/parser development (ANTLR, AST, semantic checks, query planning, code generation).
  • Strong knowledge of query optimization and execution planning.
  • System-level performance profiling & optimization.
  • Familiarity with build systems (CMake, Maven, Gradle).
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with distributed databases & execution engines.
  • Knowledge of concurrency control, Raft, two-phase commit.
  • Familiarity with graph query languages (GSQL, Cypher QL).
