Pilot Training Specialist

\\Job Description:\

The Pilot Training Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the high standard, reliability, serviceability, and fidelity of Full Flight Simulators.

\

This role involves coordination with the technical team to ensure that maintenance staffing, training, resourcing, and processes are effectively planned and executed in compliance with regulatory requirements.

\\Key Responsibilities:\
  • \
  • Ensure regulatory standards are met for all training devices.\
  • Oversee simulator configurations, updates, and modifications.\
  • Serve as first-line management support, facilitating coordination among technical teams.\
  • Perform pre-flight readiness checks, including interior simulator housekeeping.\
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance activities on simulators and training devices.\
  • Maintain hardware and software configuration integrity.\
  • Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for technical issues.\
  • Implement software and hardware updates/upgrades.\
  • Identify and track spare part requirements.\
  • Maintain clear communication and coordination with logistics and inventory teams.\
  • Provide customer support during training operations.\
  • Participate in regular meetings with the Quality and Training team.\
  • Liaise with OEMs for resolution of open technical escalations.\
  • Support forecasting and planning of future maintenance needs.\
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures.\
  • Report any safety-related issues in line with the Safety Management System.\
    • \Preferred Candidate Profile:\

- Engineering degree in Electronics / Electrical / IT / Instrumentation / Aeronautical

\

- Minimum 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Full Flight Simulator maintenance

\

- Strong understanding of FSTD qualification standards (FAA Part 60 / EASA CS-FSTD(A))

\

- Hands-on experience with QTG execution, simulator diagnostics, and configuration management

\

- Excellent communication and team coordination skills

\

- Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergency technical issues
