Senior Data Engineer

Overview:
The role of Senior Data Engineer- Contract is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our organization and contribute to the development of innovative data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement advanced data models using star schema, facts & dimensions architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate semi-structured data from various sources into Postgres database using json/jsonb format.
- Develop and optimize complex SQL queries utilizing CTEs, window functions, indexing, and optimization techniques.
- Implement ETL/ELT tools (Airbyte) to ensure seamless data integration and transformation.
- Prepare high-quality data for business intelligence dashboards (Tableau) and ensure data validation, QA checks, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and drive project success.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in Postgres SQL.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, semi-structured data handling, and ETL/ELT tools.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
