">Job Description">- Key Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing multi-tier distributed software applications. They will estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes that meet requirements for functionality, performance, scalability, reliability, and adherence to development goals and principles.
">They must be able to independently design code and test major features, as well as work jointly with other team members to deliver complex changes. Additionally, they must be able to effectively collaborate in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams in a large organization (software development, QA, Project/Release Management, Build and Release, etc.).
">Providing on-call production support for payment platform applications is also an essential part of this role.
">Requirements">- Experience
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. They should also have 7+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
">A minimum of 5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience is required.
">Additionally, experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team is highly valued.
">The candidate should possess knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.
">7+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience is also necessary.
">- Education
A Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent is required.
