Job Overview

A Clinical Data Management Specialist is responsible for defining project specifications, understanding external data collection, and executing data cleaning strategies to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop project specifications for data management services, including protocol conversion, database build, CRF design, and data review and reconciliation tools.
  • Analyze external data collection and its integration into the clinical trial, as well as manage and reconcile processes required to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Implement effective data cleaning strategies to accelerate subject data cleanliness and meet timely deliverables.
  • Conduct holistic data reviews and trending analysis via reporting and analytics to proactively identify issues, risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) for anomaly and outlier detection to enhance efficiency and quality of trial data.
  • Monitor and interpret key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, dashboards, and reports to provide actionable recommendations.
  • Manage query resolution and collaborate with technical teams on centralized data management platform configuration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data management documentation throughout the trial lifecycle.
  • Ensure quality control of team-developed deliverables, covering eCRFs, study documents, program/report specifications, and analytics modules.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve timely completion of high-quality deliverables.
  • Adhere to industry quality standards, regulations, guidelines, and procedures.
